What is LAUCC 2009?

LAUCC, short for Latin American Unicycle Championship and Convention, is the first unicycle convention and championship ever realized in South America! It will held Street, Flatland, Trials High and Long Jump competitions!

Where and when it’s going to be?

This year LAUCC will be held in Santiago, Chile, from Octuber 30 to November 1! LAUCC it’s a roving event and each year will take place in a different Latin American country!

Who is going to be there?

The best south american unicyclists! But don’t worry if you aren’t a pro rider! LAUCC is also a CONVENTION, and you’ll be able to ride is our courses, learn tricks and spend good times with persons who share the same passion!  Our sponsors and partners will be also there! So you’ll be able to win prizes, check some market news and even talk to some unicycle factories representatives! It’s fun for sure!

Why should I go?

Cause it will be fun! It’s also the first Latin American official event EVER! You’ll make history with us!

How do I register?

This year you’ll not need to register! The convention costs will be asked in Santiago by the organizers! Anyway, we made a registering page on the website, so you can virtually register if you’re going! If you register your name will be showed on the participants page and many riders will know that you’ll be there!

I don’t have money for an hotel, where can I stay?

Bring your sleepbag! We’ll offer some space in the gym so you’ll be able to sleep in there and make the convention cheaper for you! For this space you’ll not be asked for any additional money, it’s free! Anyway, if you want you can book on any hotels around Santiago (be aware: It’s not a small city).

Sound cool! But how much will cost?

Don’t worry! With the help of our sponsors we made it quite cheap! For the 3 days with competitions, place to sleep and lots of fun, will ask you around 10US Dollars! (This value me have some minor changes)!
